Let Freedom Ring
What is Freedom?

Freedom is the state of not being controlled by an external force. When you are in Christ, you have freedom because God gives you free will to choose good or evil. When you follow evil Satan, you don’t have freedom because Satan doesn’t give you the option to choose holiness.
Illustrations of freedom:
“O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain; for purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed his grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea!” This song was written in 1893 by Katharine Lee Bates. This. Song releases protection into the atmosphere where the lyrics are sung or quoted.
Another illustration of freedom is found in the book of Exodus. When the Israelites were forced to fight for their freedom, God delivered them. The story about Moses’ fight with Pharaoh is an illustration of both freedom and slavery.
When we pray, we are practicing religious freedom. Sometimes, we experience evil opposition attempting to come against our prayer lives. When we face spiritual opposition, we engage in spiritual warfare. Because we have freedom, we are able to engage in spiritual warfare. Without freedom, we wouldn’t be able to fight back and we would become slaves to evil.
What does it really mean to be “free in Christ”?
When we are free in Christ, that means that we have used our own inherent freedom (free-will) to choose holiness. Our DNA is reprogrammed at that moment. When our DNA is reprogrammed in this way, it means that we can easily choose holiness with clear vision. Freedom in Christ means that rejecting evil becomes easy, and it is no longer confusing.
How do we stay free?
We stay free by using our ability to fight to defend our freedom. We only stay free if we choose to fight. If we stop fighting, we will go into bondage.
May freedom be with you for all of eternity. ♾️
